Untethered iOS 5.1.x-Jailbreak nur noch ein paar Tage entfernt

Pod2g hat bekanntgegeben, dass der untethered iOS 5.1.x-Jailbreak nur noch ein paar Tage entfernt ist, was eine Veröffentlichung nächster Woche, in derselben Woche in der auch die HITB SecConf Amsterdam stattfinden wird, mehr als nur äußerst wahrscheinlich macht. Es werden alle Geräte mit iOS 5.1.1 funktionieren, mit Ausnahme des Apple TV 3G. Das neue iPad 2, die internationale Variante des neuen iPads (das AT&T-Modell) und das Apple TV 2G müssen noch getestet werden, sollten aber funktionieren.

  • iPad 2 Wifi
  • iPad 2 GSM
  • iPad 2 CDMA

  • iPod 4G
Here is the list of devices that won’t be supported :
  • AppleTV 3
Remains to test (but that should work) :
  • iPad 2 Wifi, R2
  • iPad 3 Global
  • AppleTV 2
